I have the exact same RV and awning. I had the same problem last year and took it back to the dealer. The dealer kept it for 2 months and couldn't fix it. Carefree refused to replace it. I hired an RV repairman, he couldn't fix it. If I park it on the most level spot I can find it works fine. I don't have a solution but, wish you good luck with it.

RE: Winnebago vs. Jayco
I have a Jayco. Only minor problems and the customer service has been awesome. I looked at Winnebago's before I bought and didn't find any I liked.
